If you're using buccal film, make sure to follow these instructions:

  • In the area where you will insert the film, use your tongue to wet the side of your cheek or rinse your mouth with water.

  • Cut or rip the film only when absolutely necessary. Use a clean, dry finger to hold the film. Hold Bunavail┬« with the text (BN2, BN4, or BN6) facing up if you're using it.

  • 5 seconds after pressing the film, hold it in place.

  • Allow the film to disintegrate before removing it. It should not be handled, moved, chewed, or swallowed in any way.

  • Place the second film on the other side of your mouth if you must use more than one film. At no time can more than two buccal films be applied to the inside of one cheek.

  • Wait until the film is completely dissolved before eating or drinking anything.
